On its way
I use VistaCreate (formerly Crello), and so I can't help but compare Plasfy to it, and I think as far as features goes, Plasfy measures up quite nicely. Once it adds video, I think it will be a major contender.
The #1 con for me (discussed below) has me skeptical as to whether I'll use this very often, but for the LTD price, I will certainly stick it out for a bit to see if things improve.
Pros:
1. It's feature-rich with some cool masking features that IMO, actually beat VistaCreate
2. It has a straightforward UI that we're all used to seeing
3. Templates are adequate. There are a lot of them! Some could use some updating, but overall a nice selection.
4. The roadmap looks promising.
Cons:
1. The biggest drawback is the one many others have noted: The site is slow, slow, slow. It takes 10+ seconds to load almost every page and to save a project. This actually is a huge con. But, they have replied to other comments/reviews here that they are working on the site speed. I say it's a must-fix-issue, otherwise users won't use Plasfy for very long, not when the competition in this arena is so advanced.
2. No video (but with the site speed, it makes sense. I can't even imagine how slow things would be at this point if we were trying to render/preview video) -- but this is on the roadmap.
3. No team collaboration option. (but it's on the roadmap, so hopefully a temporary "con")
