Q: Hello, Thanks for your deal.
To better understand.
If the customer clicks on the video - will it play automatically inside the email, (gmail ++)
or are they taken to a browser to view/sound the entire video?
If the latter, then possible that the client won't return to click on CTA ( in email)
How do you calculate a Play?
If the same customer revisits the email - will that be counted as a 'new' play?
Thank you

The default Video Email experience is similar to video on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
- the video automatically starts playing when the email is opened, muted and often with captions, so that everyone can watch. Engaged viewers who click on the video are taken to a web page of your choice,
which can include video with sound if you want, or can be your product page, or whatever is best for your marketing objectives.
We do have advanced options which we can activate that play the video with sound within the inbox on about 60% of inboxes, but this is generally not as incremental for engagement and conversion, for the reason you identify - the viewer doesn't have as clear a path to conversion. For this reason we only recommend it for certain marketing objectives, but we can activate it on your account if you'd like.
Q: What counts as a Play?
A: https://help.playable.video/en/articles/3476141-what-counts-as-a-play
Yes if a viewer watched on both a phone and a laptop, that's 2 Plays - and that's generally a great signal for engagement and conversion.
