Q: Do the Appsumo plans include API access?

I saw from other AppSumo customer comments that API is available, and I have a valid key, but all API return calls are telling me I have to upgrade?

I procured Play.HT very early via AppSumo, and the application has grown well since then. There are some excellent features. Can you please post a concise and detailed description of what is included in the AppSum deal, what is NOT included, and which features will require you to purchase and entirely new subscription to get (i.e cannot be added to your existing AppSumo account).
