All the updated TTS models don't seem to be included in the original appsumo deal. Pretty disappointing. Overall this appsumo 'deal' was a big loss for me. I can understand when startups fail but play.ht made it big and is doing well. So screwing over early adopters is sketchy business practices at best.

There are A LOT of voice options and in different languages, and accents. I love the UX. It's super easy to use. No clutter. And they are constantly improving which is awesome.

I have tried different providers. German is not so easy for the systems. Some tested systems were very cumbersome, often failed, and the voices sounded very unnatural. I then bought a code to test the system. The result is excellent. I can upload long texts and the system delivers good results rapidly. I then bought more codes. My wish: to be able to upload my own music for the background. I am also happy that a white-label player can be used. Keep it up!

I've been running a script designed to test different accents through this app on and off for a month now. Some of the voices are clearly fake but several of the premium voices are really quite realistic. Even if they don't always mimic the natural accent perfectly, they could pass as actors portraying it.

Today, I needed to find a voice for a character from a non-English speaking background. After some experimentation, I managed to find a voice in another language set that was able to articulate my entire test script in English with the accent I was seeking. It's not quite perfect, but I'd give it 98%.

In all, this platform is showing strong improvements and they appear to be listening to user feedback when it comes to making improvements and clarifying ambiguities. Several of the problems other reviewers mention have already been resolved or reduced.

This app is certainly adequate if you have a bit of patience and I look forward to seeing what they add in future.

Lately, I've managed to identify some new voices that aren't yet included in the 'Kids' category but should be. So if you take a look around and test several voices out, you're likely to find what you're after.

My favorite thing is the API access which is easy to understand and use.
