Plerdy is a fantastic product, and I recommend it to anyone looking to understand and improve their website performance. I’m still exploring everything it offers, but here’s a quick summary of my first impressions:

# What I Like
- Super easy onboarding. Just grab your code, redeem it, and you're up and running within minutes.
- No marketing spam. After creating an account, it simply works. I did not get a flood of welcome emails or whatever, just a solid product ready to use.
- Excellent support. I received replies within a day. I had a CSP issue and a question about console logging, and the founder himself responded with clear guidance.
- Great video recordings and heatmaps. These already give me incredibly useful insights into user behavior.
- Clear, efficient analytics. The graphs and stats are straightforward, well-designed, and give you exactly what you need.

# Ideas for Improvement
- Some UI/UX refinements. For instance, the navigation can be a bit confusing (e.g., the timerange resets every time I navigate between pages), and a few pieces of copy could be clearer.
- Tracking status clarity. As a first-time user, it wasn’t immediately obvious whether tracking was active. Especially since the default time range excluded "today", and even after removing the tracking code, the "Check installation" tool showed everything as working, which was confusing.

Overall: a great product, highly recommended, from a great team. 5/5.

I never realized how much I needed plerdy, I saw a previous comment mention this as well. It's something you won't understand the first day, week, or even maybe month that it's on your webpage.

For me, I set it up and forgot about it on a few website and a couple client sites. I randomly logged on 1 year later and realized how much data it captured and am currently using this data to increase sales across board.

Next time this comes I'll be maxing codes.

I bought it last year and didn’t really use it for a while. Honestly, at first I didn’t quite get it, but now - it’s hands down one of the best tools I’ve got.

I wasn’t expecting the built-in pop-up to have so many settings, especially with geotargeting and all that. It makes converting customers from different countries way easier.

What’s also great is that the data stays in-house, so I can run analysis right away, and at the same time push it to GA4 for digging even deeper into different channels.

Wishing the team growth, more clients, and more features for even deeper analytics. I’m really glad I’m with you guys.

I've used a number of similar tools, including TruConversion (also via AppSumo). This one looks good and does some of the features decently, but the UI also has plenty of bugs. For example, certain pages I load on my phone just loop over and over again in Chrome. Bug is still there a month later.

Certain modals on desktop disappear just as I click into the textbox. In-app pop-ups advertise their Chrome extension... even when I had it installed.

Worst of all, however, was support. Part of their onboarding service offers a call with a CSM. Nice, I thought. I booked a time two weeks out to meet with Victoria. She no-showed the meeting. I emailed and got no response. Then Andrew sent a broadcast email about Plerdy's SERP Checker feature. Again, it contained a link that said "P.P.S. Looking to boost your conversions? Reach out to Victoria!". Emailed Andrew too, and weeks later, never heard back.

For now, this is another tool with high ratings and looks good... that I'm putting it on the shelf hoping the team buttons up its functionality.
