"OK" but has potential to be "Good"
Pros:
1. Best price of all PLR sites I have used. Nothing beats LTD :) In fact I have bought two products for $9.99 each from other PLR site just before I saw this offer on Appsumo. I kicked myself when I found out that those two products are available in PLR Lime.
2. Better organization and presentation of product categories than most PLR sites. Other sites are still stuck in '90s style UI/UX.
Cons:
1. Quality of content (based on Health & Fitness Category that I have dug deep into so far) is 80% "Bad" and 20% "OK". For example, I downloaded the eBook "Simple Stretching for Seniors" and was so disappointed to see garbage content. It was total of 52 pages, most of it were fluff (and a bad fluff at that). And then in the few pages that talk about actual stretching it's still garbage. This is an example of one of the stretching exercises in the eBook:
"Trapezius β The best stretches to loosed up your trapezius muscles are the forward trapezius stretch, side trapezius stretch, and diagonal trapezius stretch."
Just one sentence with wrong grammar that doesn't even explain how to do it. How in the world would seniors, the target demographic, understand this. And all of the eBooks that I have downloaded so far are from 2015-2018. This might still be ok for Health & Fitness category but for Computers & Technology category most of these materials are considered obsolete.
2. The website is still unfinished, and UI/UX might be better than most other PLR sites but it is still clunky. In the member account profile page, most of the tabs are not working. For downloading products, the Download button only shows up in the Category view. But when you click to see details of the product, the product page only shows the Buy button and the retail price for non members. You have to exit out back into category view to download. Most downloads are easy and quick but some would take you to an unsecured storage/file sharing site called mediafire.com error page and the download stalls.
PLR Lime, however, has a potential to be a good PLR site if they start putting in new contents. For now the only PLR site I know that's churning in new and decent contents regularly is PLR.me. I'm going to keep my PLR Lime subscription in the hopes that they will put in new stuff in the future. Besides, I'm really enjoying my "treasure hunting", looking for that few OK ones among the sea of bad ones.
