At first I wasn't very impressed but let me tell you something...

I posted some things in the Facebook group outlining things I didn't like or was turned off by, such as branding on cart pages/overlays, and some other things. Some of those have already been fixed in the platform which is super great.

I reached out to Plug&Paid support with a 10 minute video earlier today walking them through some of my concerns about the platform and user interface. Not only did they response within 3 hours but they also completely fixed and eased my concerns on most of the things I mentioned (and the other things will be in the works as well).

I really like it when app developers welcome, and take action on feedback.

Plug&Paid is different than some other shopping carts out there. It does things differently. I use another popular shopping cart platform that does a LOT of things, but it doesn't deliver digital products and doesn't let me limit sales to specific countries I want to do business in. Those are necessary.

Pros of Plug&Paid:

1) Setting up a complicated and expensive membership site to deliver digital downloads is a major pain point for a lot of people. Plug&Paid solves this problem in a very good way.

2) It is very easy and fast to setup a product.
3) Can collect EU VAT tax (looks like other sales tax collection is coming soon)
4) Design of the checkout forms/pages are nice (especially since some banding is removed now)
5) GREAT SUPPPORT! I'm blown away by their support so far.
6) Digital product delivery via the 10GB storage limit or you can integrate with Amazon S3 for unlimited amount of storage (or at least I think they don't limit that with Amazon S3)
There are many more great features but those are the top ones (at least for me)

Cons
1) Not fully developed as some other platforms
2) Does not yet have an affiliate system where we can have affiliates promote our products
3) Does not yet have integrations such as Email Marketing services, Zapier, but these do appear to be coming soon (not sure if Appsumo plan included on that or not)
4) Needs a better user interface. There are 3 different areas to go into based on what you want to edit (I'm well on my way to figuring this out thanks to support, but it could be improved - do not let this stop you from buying as they are eager to solve this).

I can't think of anything else to add to this review at the moment.

I'm giving 5 tacos because this cart solves a big problem for people, they have great support, and I see the potential for this cart to be a major player.

If you want to quickly get up and running to sell some digital products, services, or physical products, get this now. Don't worry about things that are not in the platform yet. Keep it simple with this cart and you'll be happy you did.

A year from now (or sooner) great things will happen with Plug&Paid if developers for it keep on "plugging" along with development :-)
