Strong mixed feelings... I'll stick to apps that do 1 thing great

Right now, the app is like Trello + invoicing…

… plus conversations and CRM.

The project management side alone tries to rival companies that are 100x the size of team Plutio.

Invoicing? There are giants like Freshbooks, Xero, etc. etc.

Conversations with your team and clients? There’s Slack, Hipchat, etc. etc…

On top of the current features, Plutio will rival with giants in the worlds of lead capture forms, contracts and quotes, AI, etc. etc…

What does it mean to be successful with Plutio? Does it mean that most of its features have to work for me? Or maybe I just need it as a sufficient Trello replacement?

Looking at it as a Trello replacement, it was not very viable a couple weeks ago… but the app is getting better and better rapidly. But still… Trello is the king of this category and it’s been free the entire time.

Can I trust Plutio, which tries to be Trello plus 10 other companies, to beat Trello at its game?

Can it be my invoicing app?

Paperform has been doing the job for me flawlessly. If I wanted a different solution, I could easily have gone with BetterProposals, which is a clear winner for proposals and getting paid… as it’s the only thing that they do.

I’d also want integration with my accounting app. I currently use WaveApps. I doubt that Plutio will replace WaveApps as well, on top of its competition vs. Trello and 9 other companies.

Plutio gives me a strong mix of feelings.

The team is doing the impossible and they’re super promising…

But we’re fighting vs. a massive reality here…

We’re sumo-ling and we tend to find the next shiny object that does 1 thing well.

No matter how great Leo & co. are, competing with the rest of the world is too tall of an order.
