This deal seems pretty solid so far, but could turn out to be great. I went ahead and did the 3 code deal to get the lifetime upgrades instead of maybe deciding I want them later for $99 a year (vs a $98 one off payment now). I do agree with a lot of the comments here about the stacking deals and getting half baked products that are sold based on the promises of future updates. I unfortunately have been burned before by promises that never materialized (no new courses were ever added to marketibles even after Corey emailed me personally and said they were on the way), changes to the plans (neatlyio went to free for everyone after selling an agency plan for $150), the company shuts down ( got that email from themezilla recently even though their parent company pixel union is still around), or the product seems like it was a cash grab and nothing more was ever done with it ( grum, cloudpress). Now, I don't blame AppSumo for these. I'm sure they do a pretty thorough vetting and work to get us great deals, but the fact remains that I've been on AppSumo since 2011 and never asked for a refund until 2016 even though some of the original purchases had a lifetime refund policy. Now it seems like my account is a revolving door of purchases and refunds just because I don't want to be stuck with no chair when the music stops. I buy most deals, try them out, and if I don't like them or don't think I will use them that much in the future, I request a refund. All that being said, I know AppSumo has my back 100% on the customer service side of things and I won't ever hesitate to buy something as long as they stand behind it.
