Poda is a Powerhouse! Intuitive and usable out of the box!

I had the pleasure of immediately putting Poda to use for an academic project I'm working on. I do have another feature-rich software for mind mapping in my arsenal as well as another reviewer mentioned (Weje.io). While Weje.io actually may have more advanced features currently than Poda does as it pertains strictly to mind mapping (such as the ability to add various documents and edit them from the board, ability to make flexible connections between nodes or "cards" as they call them, combining cards, etc.), I found the UI and UX of Poda to be much more user-friendly and clean straight out of the box. I also love the ability to create tags, or properties, and add them to nodes as necessary, and the ability to filter the project.

The planning emphasis for Poda is evident in the templates available and the default status that shows up when you add a new node. I believe the concept of integrating planning with mind mapping is truly where Poda shines, and I definitely have many planning use cases that I'm excited to incorporate into Poda.

Here are a few feature suggestions that I'd like to see, and due to my relative new use of the software, I acknowledge that these may already exist in a way I haven't come across yet:

- the ability to choose the color code for the property tags I assign. I love that it automatically comes with a color applied, but I'd love to be able to change it as well and use color as an additional visual way of grouping like items.

- to create connections between nodes that don't necessarily have a parent/child relationship. I'm currently using the "Properties" feature to show common relationships between more distantly related nodes, but I think the ability to either show a connection or create a tagged feature where nodes can be assigned as related to one another and viewable or accessible from each other would be great (e.g. I click on a node and have the ability to select related nodes to that one, and generates clickable links to move from one node to another). I believe something like this would actually be a game changer for project planning, mind mapping, and personal knowledge management.

- the ability to upload various files to a node, such as .jpg, .png, .pdf, etc and/or add embeddable links.

I look forward to continuing to use Poda and seeing how it evolves over time! Thanks for your dedication to developing Poda, Nick!
