I combined this with play.ht and now my podcast has a new home and each episode has its own page making it easier for anyone to subscribe.
This was something I was looking to build but didnt want to do it because it was just too much work to maintain it on a wordpress setup. Podsite makes is easy to build your podcast home and give each episode its own page with a built in player, option to listen on other services, related podcasts option, contact form, follow on social media and subscription option. ( not sure how the subscription option works, does it send email for any new episodes? what is the sending email?)
pros: indexed by google within the day (using custom subdomain) page is fast no need to worry about wp updating looks good on mobile
cons: need to add other podcast sources like tunein or amazon
wishlist: banner spaces to promote mainsite or episode sponsor xml sitemap
