The closest I have come across to Poised is another app on here called Orai that helped with public speaking using an AI-powered speech coach app. I had to refund that because I didn't use it much. and I think this is where Poised is going to succeed. Since it is inbuilt into your workflow, you don't have to think about taking the time to use it. Whilst on the call, it gives you feedback. I plan to use this initially only for semi-formal calls to gain some mastery over it before rolling it out with the big guns. Some people may find prompts such as speaking too fast' 'look at the camera' etc distracting to begin with so my advice would be to use it with your friends before using it for an interview or other important meetings.

The dashboard is pretty great as well and once you complete at least 3 meetings, it provides you with an overview of factors such as clarity, empathy etc and how you compare with other professionals in your space. This had me confused for a bit as I did not know who my peers were and then remembered that during onboarding there was a list of questions that extrapolated this information (industry, experience etc) I wish I had known this earlier and I certainly hope that I can change my answers, as I gave them thinking I am taking Poised for a test drive. But now I can see its long-term value and intent to keep it.

Finally, I mistook the one-user seat to mean that I will be able to use it only across my primary meeting platform but that's not the case. You can use it everywhere once you set your speaker settings to Poised and begin recording meetings in the menu bar app. What's even more amazing is if you are sharing a screen, these prompts won't be screen shared. That's interesting and I wonder how.
