Poll Guru Reviews

I needed a tool to create engagement during my webinar session and I found this deal.
So far I have used it in my two webinars, and had no problem.
All in all a good deal.
The only thing I wish from the development team is an integration with PowerPoint. That way I do not need to switch between the presentation and poll during my presentation.

We can do polls quite quickly and easily. Several types of questions possible. A simple and effective design, too bad we can't customize.
It is clearly missing the possibility of adding a TIMER to close votes. So, if we share the voting link, people can vote for life, unless they remove the poll.
As it stands, I still validate the product.

Okay, it is a nice tool. And sure, it is cheap. So I hesitated and was thinking about 4 taco's. But no, on AppSumo it is not about being cheap but about quality. I found PollGuru very basic. I am used with Mentimeter and PollGuru seems to have cloned some functionality's. But missing options are:
- export option - there is really no way to export the results?
- impossible to remove selected answers during the session? Wow, this makes is nearly useless for a classroom as teenagers main interest is to be funny and not to be "wise".
- embedding is only possible with knowledge of HTML
Layout is also outdated. This is not the fancy layout the public is used to nowadays. What is bothering me also is that there is not a simple url to have access to PollGuru - If I use PollGuru in Google I end up with the concurrent...... With Mentimeter the student only need to go to menti.com and fill in the PIN. But what is the URL I need to present to my audience? Something like https://login.gamificationguru.com/backend/web/polling/polling-quiz .... What?!
Hope to see updates and improvements coming. At this point it is not worth the 49 dollar. The free options of other platforms offer more. Wish you all the best with the development.

I was excited to see a PollEverywhere alternative here on AppSumo as I've been using the free version for years but always had to work around the limitations. PollGuru has a decent start. It is a bit clunky and needs development to be as smooth and robust as other tools, but it is a step in the right direction. It gets me past previous limitations, so I'll continue to give it a whirl. It will be more valuable when they add the PowerPoint integration.

HI, I am trying the app out now and I like the different types of questions available. It is easy to setup.

However, I notice that after a Poll is completed, there is no "End Poll" button. It to stopped after the last question is done. Could we have a "End Poll" button after the final question is shown and when clicked would show something nice like "Thank You" ?
In addition, when I launch a Poll from my Dashboard, I cannot go back to the dashboard after the end of the poll. Is it possible to have a button at the end of the poll to allow us to get back into our Poll Guru Account? I am thinking that if I have to launch two or more polls, I have to login in multiple times. That's rather inefficient.
