Q: 2 quick presale questions
1) Can PowerFormulas do everything that another AppSumo tool – Apipheny – can do in regards to handling/integrating APIs and sending/receiving API requests with Google Sheets?
2) Is there an easy way to use my Straico API key with PowerFormulas (similar, to how I'd be able to use my OpenAI API key) – without having to manually insert it every single time?
Thanks!

Nov 12, 2024A: Hi thanks for your questions.
1. Power Formulas provides an =API() formula which allows you to connect to an API using the formula interface. However, it is not as sophisticated as Apipheny, because it can't handle OAuth connections. For a full Apipheny alternative, please check our other product Uniquery. However, it is not on Appsumo.
2. Regarding the usage of the Straico API key with Power Formulas, you can indeed use the =API() function of Power Formulas to connect to the Straico API. If you're looking to avoid re-entering the API key manually each time, make sure to set it up correctly within the Power Formulas settings, similar to how you would manage an OpenAI API key. The =AI() formula of Power Formulas also allows you to connect to various AI provuders and you can store your API keys securely in your account, without repeated input.
If further assistance is needed for setting it up without manual entry for each use, you might want to reach out for specific guidance or feature requests

2 more:
1) Would it be possible to add more native integration to Straico in the future (to allow setting it up in PowerFormulas with a similar process as OpenAI)?
2) Would you consider adding support for some free AI-models as well?
Thanks!
Hi, I have heard some users mentioning Straico and I will definitely look into it and see how we can work with them.
About the free AI models, could you give me some examples? I know Google Gemini is almost free and we already support it. Thanks.
