Q: API I am using the =API() function and urgently need the option "Update result automatically", which is available in the =AI() function.
I want to avoid new requests being made all the time. The fact that this option is not available there seriously feels to me as if no thought has been put into it and is really really disappointing. It feels like it's been half-heartedly cobbled together.

Jun 5, 2024A: Hi, thanks for your opinion. We have the auto refresh parameter for the AI formula because calls to OpenAI casts money and we want to help our users avoid that. But for API formula, most users want the data to be fresh all the time so we didn't implement any restrictions on auto refresh. We have to balance users needs for lower cost and up to date data.
