Prefinery is Pretty Fine
This is one of those classic examples of "simple, yet powerful."
I feel the art of simplicity has been lost on many products that grace the AppSumo store.
Too many deals and products try to chase every corner of the market rather than specializing in one area and doing it really well, but that's not the case for Prefinery.
They seem to understand the importance of simplicity and functionality above all else.
Implementing Prefinery is a walk in the park, you're up and running before you even know how the heck your shoes got on your feet. The toolset available inside the platform is minimal as well, but it's specialized and honed in on the intent of the platform. Sending emails is a breeze and they have extremely powerful dynamic fields which do a lot of the heavy lifting, so you just have to worry about the copy and let the rest work its magic!
What I'm most impressed with are the various ways to customize the forms. A lot of products either don't offer much customization, or it's very basic, but the tools available in Prefinery allow you to supercharge your forms to perfectly fit your brand and/or the website it's embedded.
The deal itself is pretty generous all things considered and I can easily see myself dropping some monthly $$$ if I ever surpass them, I would hope at that point that I'm generating enough revenue it's a drop in the bucket!
I sort of wish that Prefinery could take its perfection and magic from "Referrals" and implement a Giveaway experience as well. I have some solutions, namely Kingsumo, that work, but I have a feeling that Prefinery's take would be more powerful and more connected.
Speaking of connections, the ways to integrate Prefinery into your current workflow is immaculate. You name it, they have it, and if they don't, they have a way to make it possible - gone are the days of your data being "stuck" inside the platform.
I would like to see a better way to manage Suppressions though. Just a simple uploader would be nice, so if I'm cleaning a list, I can export the contacts/users, hygiene it through something like TrueMail, and then be left with a list of bad records which I can upload as Suppressions, or an easy way to upload a master list of good records that iterates over the current user list.
But overall really impressed and happy with Prefinery so far. Have yet to work the magic of deploying it, because I have no use case right now, but when I do, this is going to be my go-to solution!
