But the Branding Though . . .
I bought Premast just out of curiosity. I had purchased deals for Slidebean (meh) and Slideshop (now Kroma, meh+) previously, and I am (obviously) always on the hunt for a slide software that will knock my socks off.
The Premast template offering is certainly better than those other guys - many templates, and with more original and interesting design thought behind them. So for the templates alone, this deal is worth it.
But the branding integration is phenomenal! Before Premast, I was pretty much stuck with just one corporate branded presentation template, just to ensure brand consistency. Now with Premast we have our brand elements available inside Powerpoint, and anyone producing a deck can grab the logos, colors, fonts, and other brand graphics and make a branded presentation no matter which template they're using.
As an Agency, it gets even better. Creating slide decks for all our clients is now as easy as opening PowerPoint (or Google slides, but I'm still a PowerPoint person myself). No more assembling brand elements and brand books for each slide-deck project.
One of the reasons I tend to lean on PowerPoint is the amount of assets (images, icons, GIFs, etc.) available inside it for when you don't need branded elements. But that catalog of options has been getting stale for a while. Premast brings hundreds of new assets to PowerPoint, effectively doubling the graphical potential of each presentation.
Ultimately, the biggest reason to love Premast is the time you'll save using it, and time is the ultimate luxury. The deal is quite generous: no limits on access to templates or graphics, unlimited brand kits and unlimited downloads. This is $49 well spent.
