Q: Distribution Inquiry
Love this, looks super valuable for clients who need actual press and also for SEO.
I saw the Member pricing, $79 for standard and $299 for Premium. How does that compare to PRWeb? Is Premium the equivalent of their Premium? I don't see mention of SOVRN or journalist lists.
Why are you a better choice than PRWeb?
Thanks!

Nov 26, 2024A: Hi there,
Great question. The way I understand PR Web, their releases *start* at $900 and depend on which channels you choose. Premium PRs with Press Ranger are *set* at $299 and include *everything* including Business Insider, Market Watch, Yahoo Finance, AP News, Bloomberg Terminals, Dow Jones Terminals, and hundreds more. The average release with Cision costs $3000 after images, word count, channels, etc.
Bit of history, during our first AppSumo campaign, we asked everyone what we should build and the #1 most requested feature was to be able to publish press releases at wholesale prices. But you don't have to use it. You can use Press Ranger’s media database to distribute your press releases to any publisher or journalist within our network. The distribution service is a one-click way to save your time to guarantee distribution at top-tier publishers.
If you've done a recnet PR web release, send the report to steve@pressranger.com and I'll apples to apples it for you. I haven't seen one in a few months.
