Q: Do I get everything with AppSumo?
Here is what I do not understand:
1. In the video there was a screenshot from the service interface where you pay money for PR distribution. If you buy it on AppSumo, do you not get this included?
2. Am I correct that the service has two functions:
- 1) You can write a press release and a message to journalists and send it out in bulk to many journalists.
- 2) You can find journalists who are already looking for comments and respond to them directly inside the service.
3. I will not need to register anywhere else or go to any other platforms? Everything is inside Press Ranger and there is no need to go anywhere else?
4. Am I understanding correctly that if I choose a tier where Pitch notifications = 0, I can still do everything, but I just will not receive pitch requests with my keywords to my email so I can respond to them quickly?

Jan 12, 2026A: 1. Bit of history, during our first AppSumo campaign, we asked everyone what we should build and the #1 most requested feature was to be able to publish press releases at wholesale prices. But you don't have to use it. You can use Press Ranger’s media database to distribute your press releases to any publisher or journalist within our network. The distribution service is a one-click way to save your time to guarantee distribution at top-tier publishers. You do not need to use this to get value out of Press Ranger.
2. yes, exactly!
3. For some pitch requests (the ones where journalists are looking for sources), we pull from Featured.com but that's the only instance. The rest is all within Press Ranger.
4. Yes correct but you can still see all of the pitch requests, there's just no email notifications.

If my company is from Spain, it doesn't mean that I want to outreach Spanish editors only.
But taking into account that I see them on the first page, I have a feeling that the editors from the USA won't see me too. Am I mistaken?
You can choose via the filters what countries and languages you are interested in and adapt for one or many PR campaigns. The databases should allow you to filter to see what you're looking for. If not, let me know what you're trying to do and I can send you a link.
