High Hopes but A Little Disappointed
I've used press release distribution platforms in the past such as Ereleases and EIN Presswire. Press Ranger is in alignment with EIN Presswire and only $20 cheaper per (basic) press release distribution but you don't get access to AP News which you do with EIN Presswire for only $20 more. You also seem to get a much broader distribution group (larger audience) with EIN Presswire than Press Ranger. I didn't see any top journals when looking at Press Ranger's distribution list either. You also can't segment it by state or region which you can for Ein Presswire.
I was under the impression that the press release distribution was included in the price but it isn't. It's $79 (not including AP News) and $299 for their premier (includes AP News). You do have access to the journalists though which is good. They need to work on the description aspect of the press release which can't be edited. You have access to some of the features shown in their benefits but you have to pay extra for them. If I had to do it all over again knowing what I know now, I probably wouldn't have purchased it. I think I'm too late for a refund; so I will hope for the best in reaching out to journalists.

One thing to note about EIN is that they use fake websites that are all under their own brand. This gives the illusion of many sites, but in reality they are all AI generated stuff under their own domains:

Notice how all of those websites are on the EINnews.com domain, and all look the same?
It's because they are not real news websites. They are all owned and operated by EIN itself, fabricated for the illusion of a real press release. These have no impact on SEO, nor are they actual press release distributions.
Our basic release is designed to be basic. We give warnings on every step that the package is intended as a low-cost option. From an SEO perspective, it beats EIN's releases any day of the week, but it's not even close to as good as our Premium releases.
