Before Pretty Prompt, we built Dolphin AI, an AI-powered feedback repository.
In addition, we are both former founders with diverse backgrounds: Charlie served as a Founding Engineer at various startups, including a Sequoia-backed company, and has published papers on AI and Machine Learning (before it was cool).
I am a 3x founder, traveled the world as an award-winning choreographer, and theatre producer, and have previously built an event agency producing more than 1,000 events, a subscription platform, and a two-sided marketplace.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?
The idea came from our own pain: prompt engineering is harder than it looks. We’d spend hours refining prompts for Dolphin AI (our past product).
Eventually, we realized that if we’re struggling, others are too. That insight became Pretty Prompt.
What problem is your product solving and how?
The problem: Writing great prompts is time-consuming and frustrating.
The solution: Pretty Prompt gives you instant, one-click improvements, no learning curve, no wasted time.

What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?
Customers: Build a tight feedback loop with the community, and grow even more, delivering more value.
Cash: Invest in faster development and new integrations.
Learnings: Use insights from Sumo-lings to refine product direction and roadmap, and improve the overall experience.
Any details to clarify about the deal?
The AppSumo deal is straightforward: lifetime access, a set number of prompts per month based on the tier you choose, and access to the Improvement Feature, Refinement Feature, Prompt Library, Prompt History, Chrome Extension, Web App, and more.
One-time payment, and you’re set.
Note that the Prompts per month are total for the number of users in each tier.
(Example: if you have selected a Tier with 7,000 prompts per month and 10 users included, that means if all 10 users use their full allocation for one month, they would get 700 prompts each. 10 Users * 700 prompts per month = 7,000 Prompts.)
Prompts don’t carry over to the next month, they reset automatically to the monthly allowance. (Example: if you have selected a Tier with 7,000 prompts per month, each month the total available prompts will reset automatically to 7,000).
