I decided to buy this, but after testing it out, I ultimately chose to request a refund.

The reason is that I am pretty advanced when it comes to prompting, and the results I got from Pretty prompt during my tests did not impress me. Also, there were some things the prompt added that I didn’t ask for or that completely changed the objective of my prompt.

My current go-to for prompt improvement is Claude. If I have a long chat or task that works well, I just turn it into a prompt or reusable skill in Claude. I’ve noticed smarter models like Claude 4.8 no longer need detailed or technical prompts. You can simply chat with it, go through what you need, and it will guide you step by step to reach your objective. These new advanced models are smart enough to understand you now. This is just my opinion, but I think these prompt tools likely won’t be needed in the future.

Nothing personal at all, the tool has a good clean interface and the owner was responsive to my questions. This tool could be useful for non-technical people or those just getting started with prompts, but as models continue to get more advanced, I am not sure it will be helpful to have such a tool for the future.
