Q: Hello - So I'm not too technie but a partner who is an open-source tech guy is being skeptical.
What could I say to him about differences between n8n and Procesio?
His argument is n8n can integrate with any application via webhooks, if the application has an API.
I'm saying Procesio can integrate with anything via an API and build automations between multiple applications that have API, is this correct?
What could I add to that?
How is that an advantage over n8n?
Ok Thanks!

May 14, 2024A: Hi ecclesia,
Thank you for considering PROCESIO :)
n8n is an excellent product with its niche and use cases.
I discussed with our team and gathered the following differences:
- n8n does not support Python natively. N8N only supports JavaScript as the scripting language for custom code within its "Function" node.
- n8n does not have a native document designer
- n8n's data transformation capabilities are limited. It may not be suitable for complex data transformations
- n8n does not have a native data modeling or data table feature. users must use JavaScript code in the "Function" node to create data structures and map their output data to it
- n8n don't have Alerts/Notifications
Think of PROCESIO as a Visual Automation, Development & Execution Environment. With a "one of its kind" Process Designer / Workflow Builder.
Just that, the only way to confirm the above is for your partner to test it :)
Also, you can join our Discord and ask the community members. I know for a fact that there are some that used n8n.
Best,
M

I'm cutting pasting this to him right after this.
I'll be sure to grab this and join the discord!
Ok thanks!
