Maximizing Productivity with Procesio: My Hands-On Review
As someone who was affected by the shutdown of Meta API, reliability and long-term solutions were my top priorities when testing the new platform. After some assistance from the Discord server, I found the platform to be functional, although the UI can be overwhelming at first glance. However, with the help of the onboarding tutorial, things became clearer. It's important to note that this platform is one layer deeper than simply offering ready-made services. Instead, you have access to Call API blocks and various function and flow-oriented blocks. As such, it does require some technical knowledge and attention to detail when filling out form fields.
Once the process is set up, the platform offers a nice run interface that displays your flow as static and each node as a success or fail indicator. You can also inspect all the data flowing through it, which is a valuable feature.
Pros:
The backend UI is robust and reliable.
There are many low-level blocks available, as well as code blocks for Python and JS, making the platform very powerful.
Offers a lot of flexibility for creating custom flows.
Cons:
It would be helpful to have a library of pre-configured popular services or popular node templates to help get started.
The test flow functionality is missing or broken, which means you have to save and run the entire thing to see if it works.
The option panels can be overwhelming at times, although once you become familiar with the logic, it becomes easier to navigate.
It's not immediately clear how to consume input data in JS/Python blocks, which could be improved with better documentation.
Overall, the platform is powerful and reliable, although it does require some technical knowledge to get started. With the right tools and resources, however, it offers a lot of flexibility for creating custom flows.

May 9, 2024Max,
Thank you for your review! Our team loved the interaction with you on Discord as well!
Regarding the Cons, we hear you!
- The test action functionality: we will hide it for a while in order not to confuse people and then we will bring it up again when is working.
- We will continuously improve our documentation and will add the info you suggested as well.
- Pre-configured stuff: we will add improvements in this direction as well (it will take a bit, but we will get there soon)
We are here to help and looking forward to hear about what you will be using PROCESIO for!
