Wow, I paid $49 for a lifetime lesson on this one.

Yep, I was a 'newish' sumoling and I thought this was a Lifetime Deal like all others I had purchased. I was so excited, I didn't read properly and didn't scan the reviews towards the end to see the reviews that pointed this out. Now I am ready to use the program and came back to AppSumo to understand my 'deal' limitations on users, and low and behold I paid for a 1 year TRIAL with no discount to continue after the 1 year is up and of course would be charged a steep yearly price tag to continue with 2 users.

Ouch. I was an idiot; an excited idiot who didn't look before I leaped.

As a small business owner, process.st looks helpful and good, but if I invest time and data here, I will be hit for too much in the future.

My bad for not reading your bad more carefully.

So, my taco rating is more about 'the so-called DEAL' and AppSumo's poor choice to offer this, and not so much about the process.st service itself.

I would likely be happy to pay $49 per year, per user as a Lifetime Sumo Deal, but after reading some replies, it looks like this was a NO Deal from the start and nothing from Process.st has been offered.

I will be more careful next time.

I'm glad I tried it for FREE

Now that I have used this I won't buy it. It has a learning curve which is fairly easy but my big bitch is that you can't download your project in any meaningful way. You can download the project but it isn't interactive, just an ugly basic checklist not the same as the one I made with videos and dropdowns. I reverted to a Word doc after fiddling with this for a couple of days. I am not impressed.

Back to negotiating class for someone

Don't take this wrong...process.st is a great piece of software. The software isn't actually why I'm leaving the review.

I hope that the folks at AppSumo at least scored unlimited use of process.st for their own office. Otherwise, I have no idea why you would give a company free advertising and access to your hard earned user base like this.

Scanning the reviews it seems rather obvious to me that the majority of Sumo-lings aren't thrilled with offers like this. Neither am I.

The last thing I want is to embed something into my business and get my peeps accustomed to using it only to find a gun to my head at day 365 asking for $300/user/year (or 17% more than that if paying monthly) to continue.

If I want a trial I can go to their site (as I already had done prior to this offer) and get a 14 day free trial that provides ample opportunity to determine whether or not it's a good fit for my needs.

If the AppSumo powers to be are incapable of negotiating the standard LTD you have become known and loved for...then simply walk away!

Those companies need you much more than you need them (which they realize already) and will likely come back to offer the type of deal you are known for providing. If not it's their loss because one of their competitors will make the offer. If there isn't yet a competitor offering what they do? Wait 60 days; there will be.

Just my 2 cents.

Not an AppSumo type deal

The UI design seems a little bit outdated. Hard workers need some motivations both visually and gamifyingly. Also, I think AppSumo should defend its reputation. I totally agree that is kind of deal should go to gdgt, not here. Honestly, I miss Tallyfy and I wish it will be back here and stackable.
