I've noticed many of the plugin reviews on ProfilePress' plugin page (on the WP Repo) have a ton of 5-star reviews, many of which say the same thing: "Plugin works great and the support is even better."
I have noticed this too on certain Reddit threads where multiple comments appear on old threads that say about the same thing (great plugin, much cheaper than others, even offers support on the weekend."
Can you explain whether the plugin author commissioned these fake reviews or if they are spam and should be removed?
I am trying to do my due diligence, but reading multiple reviews, it is obvious that many of them are spam, making my investigation harder. This plugin had a myriad of 1-star reviews in the past, and I am trying to determine if the plugin is in better condition now than in the past.
