ZevsMaticQ: I thought this was all-in-one, why does Pro require another plugin?
Hi, I bought this expecting a straightforward all-in-one setup. After installing ProfilePress Pro, WordPress says it cannot be activated because required plugins are missing or inactive.
This makes it seem that Pro is not standalone, but depends on a separate free/core plugin. That was not clear before purchase.
Please clarify:
the exact required plugins
the correct install order
whether this deal is meant to be free core + Pro add-on
whether anything else is needed to sell digital products properly
and why this dependency is not clearer up front

Apr 19, 2026A: You only need the Core/Free plugin in addition to the Pro plugin. That is all.
This isn't something new. Elementor and many other plugins have a free version on the plugin repository with a separate pro plugin with all premium features.
As for the weak review, this has been answered so many times if you would please just search for it here.
