Q: Can you connect multiple Stripe accounts?

For my purposes, it would be better if the Stripe connection could be different for each event.

A: Hello,

Each PromoTix account is limited to use by one legal entity and one Stripe account. This is to prevent multiple companies or businesses (with different payment accounts) sharing the same login or account.

We will be adding sub-account logins with permissions for staff in the near future.

Thanks for the question.

Got it. Thank you! For the sub-account feature, will that support multiple Stripe accounts or is it just for adding users with different permissions?

From the descriptions I've seen here, it seems like you are designing that feature more for companies with multiple users as opposed to marketing agencies or consultants that work with different companies for event promotion and ticketing.

Correct when I talk about sub-accounts, we are designing it for staff with limited permissions, rather than for an agency trying to resell our platform.

However, to clarify - we will be creating the ability for one account to access another (adding an account manager for example.) This would be similar to how an agency can be added to another company's Google Adwords account to help them manage it.

PREFERRED SETUP: Agencies who would like to have their clients using PromoTix should have a different PromoTix account per client if they want to keep the financials separate. The client would own their account. For now you would use the different account logins to manage your client accounts and the client would have to provide that for you (or you set it up for them). In the future, the agency would have its own PromoTix account as well, and be able to be added as an Agency partner/manager.

ALTERNATIVE SETUP: Otherwise, an agency could be the single PromoTix account and run their client events inside their account, however they would need to be fully responsible for those events, including capturing the financials inside their agency account and using their own Stripe account. In this case you would not share this login information with your clients since multiple clients would live in the same account.
