not ready for show time
My business partner and I host live in-person events and online (hybrid) and this could be the perfect tool for us (most of our events are free and we sell at our event).
I wanted to love this but it's lacking: UX feels like 2010, options on the backend for customizing your registration page, lack of help/knowledge base on the backend, and can't use this for free events without friction (for example if it's a free event, the button says "buy ticket" rather than register, reserve, etc).
I think it's promising but needs some attention to the flow. Refunding for those reasons.

Thank you for your honest review and for giving PromoTix a try. Thankfully, all of the points you highlighted are issues we are already aware of, and currently working on improving (UX, event page customization, and "buy tickets" vs. "registration" language).
