Q: Malicious Code on site issues.

I've been following your platform for a while, across other LTD sites. Each time I've purchased and tried to use your platform I found that I was unable to due to your site being flagged as "We've found malicious code on this website that could harm your computer or steal your private data. We recommend avoiding the site completely." by my antivirus software. This has been an issue for months now and I've emailed you about this in the past, with no response from you company. Your site is the only site that has been flagged for me out of all appsumo products I've purchased. What is causing this and how do you plan to address it? It's my hope that your site is accessible to businesses not just hobbyist and that may require some additional security on your end. Having you on appsumo is exciting but I'd love to see this addressed.

A: Hi TetanicRaptor,

Thank you for following our platform and for taking the time to raise this. I completely understand how alarming that antivirus warning looks, and I'm sorry it's stood between you and using PromptBuilder.

To be transparent about what's happening: a few months ago our domain was the target of a false abuse report. That report put us under a review with the security vendors that power these antivirus flags. We did not have, and do not have, any malicious code on the site. This is a false positive stemming from that report, not an actual threat to your computer or your data. We're actively working to get it resolved and are very much hoping it clears soon.

In the meantime, you can get full access right away by adding our domain (promptbuilder.cc) to your antivirus software's whitelist or allowlist. That tells your antivirus to trust the site, and the warning will stop blocking you.

On the emails: I'm genuinely sorry you reached out before and didn't hear back. That's not the experience we want, and we do reply to every message we receive. Could you please email us again at [email protected]? We'll respond directly, help you get set up, and make sure nothing else gets in your way. If a previous email slipped through, this gets it straight to us.

We'd love to have you on board, and we appreciate your patience while we get this false flag cleared up.

Thanks again,
Nick
