Buggy, behind development timelines, some reason for hope
UPDATE: The developer has started responding to emails and the lockout issue/downgraded to free version has been resolved.
- developer has announced that in the next 4 weeks there are new chrome extension features coming along with mobile keyboard apps (he also has some new programmers on board)
- still finding bugs. Highlight text in gmail, rightclick "save to promptbox", try to type a shortcut name for the new prompt and the moment you hit a letter like "d" it will conflict with gmail key commands.
- have added a taco. Will update again/add more tacos when promised features arrive 😊
This app has potential. It has some basic functions of text expansion + a little more in terms of folders etc but it also has bugs. For example, highlight text and create a shortcut text from the highlighted text glitches.
The app is behind timeline for releases (mobile app was said to be coming in August but hasn't arrived).
I haven't heard from developer and others have reported this as well.
I get the feeling this app has been abandoned.
