What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?

Before building PromptEngine, I created Prompt Advance, a platform with hundreds of ChatGPT prompt templates. That project gave me firsthand insight into how much time people spend trying to craft the “perfect” prompt—and how often they struggle to get consistent results. Seeing that pain point over and over is what inspired me to build a more streamlined, customizable tool—something that actually turns your ideas into ready-to-use, high-quality prompts. PromptEngine is the result of that journey.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?

The idea for PromptEngine came from building Prompt Advance, where I curated hundreds of ChatGPT prompt templates. I kept seeing how much time people spent tweaking prompts—and how hard it was to get consistent results. I wanted a faster, simpler way to go from rough ideas to effective, professional prompts. I’m passionate about PromptEngine because it removes friction from the creative process and helps people get more out of AI with less effort.

What problem is your product solving and how?

PromptEngine solves the problem of wasting time crafting effective AI prompts. Many users struggle to turn rough ideas into prompts that actually get results. PromptEngine makes this easy by instantly transforming simple instructions into professional, high-quality prompts. What sets it apart is its simplicity—no clutter, no learning curve—and its focus on speed, consistency, and usability. Features like prompt history and the GPT-4o image prompt builder make it a practical, everyday tool for anyone working with AI.

What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?

If the AppSumo campaign goes well, I’ll reinvest the revenue into improving PromptEngine—faster development, better UX, and new features like prompt versioning. I’ll also use customer feedback to refine the product and make sure it fits real-world workflows even better. Long-term, I want PromptEngine to become the go-to tool for anyone working with AI—simple, reliable, and powerful. This campaign is a key step in growing the community and building toward that vision.
