Before 2019, I purchased teleprompter software for my iPad. Unfortunately, the results were mixed, and I eventually stopped using it. So when I discovered PrompSmart in 2019, I was utterly astonished by the accuracy of the speech-recognition scrolling. I regularly use the Android version of PromptSmart with my teleprompter. I honestly don't know how I coped before, especially when recording long-form videos. Anyone who does video production knows how time-consuming the process can be. However, I can now record videos much faster and get on with the editing process.

There are several ways to create scripts, including within the desktop version and on your mobile device. The SmartPromt app also allows you to import scripts from Box, OneDrive, DropBox, and Google Drive. My preferred method is writing scripts in Google Docs and then importing them from Google Drive. The process could not be more straightforward.

There are far more features than what I have described here. It sounds cliché to say that PromtSmart Pro is worth its weight in gold, but it's true. If you do video production at any level, you owe it to yourself to give it a test run.
