Q: More information and transparency (but it is not an obligation)

Your product seems interesting.
Many operators pass through APPSUMO, some have left a positive mark, many have left wounds, even deep ones.
Usually they introduce themselves on a page and tell a little about themselves.
To a previous question, you answered badly, because he had asked for clarifications regarding your way of presenting yourselves.
Here there are professional operators, when they buy a product, for a few or many dollars, they ask, as is right, for results and guarantees.
In your case, who are you, where do you operate, how is the team made up, what funds do you operate with, what objectives do you have, what is your turnover, do you have a sustainable business, why should we trust you, what guarantees of continuity do you provide, etc.
It is not mandatory, it is a practice, then the buyers make up their own opinion.
Thanks

A: Hi there,

I absolutely understand the importance of transparency, especially on a platform like AppSumo, where trust plays a key role in every purchasing decision. I appreciate your directness and see it as a great opportunity to offer a more complete picture of Proofly, the team behind it, and what you can expect moving forward.

As mentioned earlier, my name is Jordi. I’m a freelance web developer based in the Netherlands and the founder of Proofly. The platform has been developed fully in-house over the past two years and is part of a broader portfolio of SaaS products I currently manage, some of which are still in active development. While I’m the primary developer and operator, I do work with a small, trusted group of up to five fellow developers. These professionals are brought in on a flexible basis whenever additional expertise or capacity is required. Together, we ensure the platform is stable, fast, and continuously improving. Proofly is officially registered as a business in the Netherlands.

There is no external funding behind Proofly. Because development and infrastructure are fully managed in-house, there simply hasn’t been a need for external investment. This allows for full control over quality, direction, and growth, without pressure from investors or third parties.

In terms of current usage and performance, the number of active users is visible on the homepage for full transparency. The system is built with scalability in mind, with infrastructure that automatically adapts to user demand. In the past year, we’ve consistently maintained an uptime of over 99.5%, ensuring reliability even during peak usage moments.

The future roadmap for Proofly can be found right here on this AppSumo deal page. I highly encourage you, and anyone reading, to take a moment to explore it, as it reflects not just future features, but also the overall vision for where the product is heading. In short: expect ongoing development, multiple new notification types, advanced targeting features, and quality-of-life improvements based on user feedback. Every LTD buyer will benefit from those future updates.

Looking ahead, we are also mindful of long-term sustainability. While Proofly is currently available as a lifetime deal, the business model will gradually transition towards a subscription-based structure. This ensures recurring revenue, which in turn supports ongoing development, server costs, and product support, while still honoring the benefits granted to early LTD supporters.

Now, regarding the comment that I “answered badly” to a previous question: I strongly disagree. I always aim to provide honest and respectful replies, and I do not appreciate being mischaracterized in that way. I introduced myself very clearly on the day of launch, publicly and in detail. To now suggest otherwise is simply inaccurate and frankly out of line.

If someone overlooks the information I’ve already taken time to share, that’s unfortunate, but it’s not a reflection of poor communication on my end. Let’s keep the conversation fair and fact-based.

I truly appreciate your interest, and I welcome this kind of dialogue. I understand some buyers have been burned in the past by unreliable tools or overpromises. That’s exactly why I try to keep my communication open and honest, what you see is what you get.

And to those reading this who might still be on the fence: if you’re looking for a clean, fast, and easy-to-integrate social proof solution, Proofly may very well be what you need. You’re also welcome to try it out for free first to get a feel for how it works, no strings attached.

Thanks again for opening the door to this conversation. I’m happy to continue answering questions if you have more.

I took that questioning as bullying and would not have been upset if you did not reply
