Aaarghh. The AppSumo censorship has struck. So, I'm told that I've to rewrite my comment below, because AppSumo has "this review as the sentiment does not seem to match the rating of 5-taco." Thing is, this was a 5-star app for me, so why change the rating? Anyway, here we go: 2-stars, but original comment below.

Really sad to learn that Proposa is shutting down. This was an easy-to-use yet effective tool. Not sure what happened. The platform wasn't developed much after going live on AppSumo, so maybe this was just another LTD cash grab for them. Anyways, I enjoyed using Proposa. And it's not the couple of bucks I'm angry about... it's the time invested to learn the tool and the amount of proposals for which I now have to find a new home. If at all possible to export them. Still 5 Tacos as the tool was really good. I can't believe they shut down. Probably somebody bought them and it's the best way to get rid of all the LTDs sold on AppSumo doing it this way. Wouldn't be the first time.

I'm glad I found Proposa, Fantastic software! I like the simplicity. We work with different industries. I see myself using this app from now on. It needs some improvement, but I'm sure this team will do great. Keep it up, guys! You have a great product going!

This program has increased my business closing ratio with its clean web based design. however it is not a stable program, several major issues.

1) I can only update the pricing table with one field and have to save back out and then go back end, can not make more than one edit, or DATA IN FIELD IS LOST. So basically updating any price quote is an arduous task with buggy table portion.

2) when I clone a proposal, and add a new URL, the old URL often comes back, sometimes more than once.

I have connected the developers months ago, but no fix, It doesn't appear anyone is working on this product.

Again, I will state I am using this and it is helping me, but the software is not yet stable and has several bugs.

This one has a real nice design and useful functionallity.
Two major things to improve
1. Support docs (for example how to set up custom domain).
2. Support response time.

I really like the UI for the tool and that it is relatively easy to use. So far most things seem to work as expected and the templates are great. I've given 4 tacos instead of 5 because I was a bit disappointed with the white labeling feature. Someone else mentioned it in their review so I'm restating it again. The actual white labeling of the product is not the issue, but rather the email that is sent to the prospect. It comes from Proposa and at the bottom of the email it reads like any other marketing email that Proposa might send to someone on its email list, meaning that it has the unsubscribe link at the bottom as well as a statement that says "This email was sent to you because you indicated that you'd like to receive insights about your Business Profile." This is not an accurate statement for the purposes of the prospect and the proposal that I am sending them. Instead, this appears to be the standard unsubscribe statement that your company has developed for its own email marketing. This really needs to be corrected because it can be very confusing from recipients.

In my original review of this product, I brought 2 major flaws of the deal to light and therefore only gave the product 3 stars even though I really liked it. But I'm pleased that the Proposa team has taken that feedback on board and has improved the deal limits and addressed the issue of global users, so I now have no reason not to give this product the 5 starts that it truly deserves.
I have been desperate for a decent proposal software to come back on AppSumo after missing 'better proposals' back in 2018. Nothing has been on since that lived up to that standard, especially the massively disappointing 'fresh proposals' which hasn't improved a single bit since it was on AppSumo, total waste of money.
I believe this product has a bright future and hope to see it continually developed, I am certainly glad to have a go-to solution now for my proposals

I Purchased Tier 2 plan which has white labelling, Heatmap feature, also shows that user once accept the proposal can download the proposal. But when user clicks on it, Proposal Not Found issue is shown. Also, changes madhe in the plan are not reflected when creator tries to download the pdf and a lot of white spacing is shown. Also, in Digest when i click on Details, its asking to upgrade to Business Plan, which i consider is provided from Tier 2 plan already.

Please provide clarifications on these issue?

Proposa allows you to create quick, slick online proposals. But be aware that some of the advertised features on AppSumo are not yet available.

The user interface has limited editing functions, making it easy to learn. It took me about 30 minutes to create my first proposal. With the ability to save specific sections, I imagine it might only take a few minutes to produce future proposals.

You can create a proposal from scratch or use one of the ready-made templates. It doesn't matter which template you start with because you can change the theme after adding your content and easily rearrange the different sections.

Stock images from Unsplash are available within the program, and you can import graphics and artwork from your linked Dropbox and Google Drive accounts.

The Viewport shows you what your proposal will look like on smartphones and tablets. You can check this while editing the content to see how it flows on different platforms.

When you finish the proposal, you can copy a link to the online and PDF versions to send to your clients. Or can send the proposal directly from the software. But be aware you can not edit that email. You don't even see a preview of the message. (See additional comments below.)

Some things you need to know:

Proposa's videos and documentation show you how to animate the text in your proposals (fade-in, slide-in, etc.) That function is not yet available in the software. The templates have animation built-in, and currently, you can not adjust or delete the animations.

There are three license tiers available on AppSumo. Tiers 2 and 3 are supposed to include White Labeling and Behavior Analysis.

Regarding White Labeling, Proposa's website (https://proposa.io/features/white-labeling/) says, "Your Brand. Not Ours. There will be no mentions of Proposa anywhere." That's only partially true. There is no Proposa brand anywhere on the actual proposal. Still, the email comes from Proposa and includes Proposa's logo and links to Proposa's social media and customer support site. I sent a test proposal to two colleagues. One of them deleted the email because it looked like junk mail.

The Behavior Analysis (https://proposa.io/features/heatmaps-behavioral-analysis/) only partially works. You get notification emails every time your client looks at the proposal. However, the heatmap function is not currently available to AppSumo subscribers.

There seems to be some disconnect between the software developers and the marketing team. Some advertised features are not yet available. I contacted customer support about the discrepancies and was told "engineers are working on it," and the features will be available soon.

Compared with the cost of other digital proposal software options, Proposa on AppSumo is a good deal! But the software feels like it's three-fifths finished, so that's what I'm giving it for a rating at this time.

The way we can create interactive beautiful proposals with Proposa is really impressive. At one side I don't like we're locked in the design, but on the other hand it also makes it a lot easier for us who aren't design magicians.

I should start by saying I don't dislike the product; in fact, I like it a lot. It feels solid and well-thought-out, and the UI is nice to navigate. Features included from tier 2 up are also good.

What is disappointing for me though, and the reason for currently giving it 3 stars is for two main reasons.

First is the bizarre user to live proposal limits, in a previous appsumo deal, better proposals offered 30 live proposals and 1 user, whereas here we are offered just 10 but with 4 users but this is kind of pointless as 4 users wouldn’t be able to use the product actively with only 10 live proposals between them. I really hope this can be addressed, as if this deal was 30 live proposals per user and fewer users, this would be a far more attractive offer and great solution for my needs. I’m also seeing this consistently in the questions here, so looks like I’m not the only one.

Secondly the other disappointing thing is that this has been launched to a global audience but only ready for US based users, surely this could have been addressed before launch that global user’s would be buying via appsumo and therefore locking the time zone and address settings just to US is annoying? I’m sure other European buyers will appreciate this being fixed as well.

I hope this can be resolved and look forward to seeing a response to these points. It’s strange to write negative comments about a product I really like, but I would gladly adjust my review 5 stars if the feedback is taken on board.

I tried Proposa out under a trial account, even though I was highly intrigued right away.

In less than 10 minutes? I was already convinced it's a solid app.
The interface is beautiful. The workflow is intuitive.

And the way it streamlines a time-consuming process? That's something you can't
even quantify.

When you see how it makes a complex offer so perfectly illustrated and formatted,
you'll be confident it will help you make an ask. All of the elements that justify your
pricing and workflow will be perfectly portrayed.

Get this program. It's an excellent decision!
