This is a super helpful widget for any ecom store / online business
One thing that put me off other "get a discount code" tools are the additional waiting times and jumping between email apps for your potential customer to receive a discount code (add friends, they click, then wait for email then off you go). Prosper just seems fast.. and easy.
I know there's questions about social integrations (these will be great when implemented!) but for now, even the email / SMS is really helpful as a customer could receive a discount at checkout without going to too much trouble.
I have a Shopify store which I've yet to test this with but it seems like it will be smooth as it pulls your Shopify discount codes directly in afaik. I have tested on my other website and plan to test within some of my woocommerce stores once they integrate this feature. For now, it works well with HTML.
If I was to give feedback, Id say some of the UI needs some attention and ideally customization of some of the language would be great (generally almost all of the text in the widget can be customized already). For now it does what it says on the tin and I think it will only get better as they seem to have a strong, dedicated team.
I'll follow their progress but happy to buy now while on LTD :)
