gerasmusQ: Protoplay website problem
Whenever I play a video on Protoplay.tv the video window is black, a white cross in the center and message
"The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported."
The error with every and any video, even videos that previously displayed.

Since 2022-2025 I have already uploaded 41 videos and all displayed nice

It seems to be an abandoned product now. It was a poor product from the start, with little to no support unless you were lucky enough to get a reply. The excuse given was that the team is small and made up of volunteer students or something like that. Very disappointing and a waste of money. AppSumo should take note of products like this.

I noticed a month ago the website is still online, but the video content black.
Fortunately, I always have my videos on three or four different locations.
Dozens of products I bought on AppSumo has gone bust, the most expensive was Sessions. A remarkable alternative to Zoom, but it failed. I invested $140 into a tier 2.
They even ha a lifetime deal a week before they finally went bust.

The website is still online but clearly abandoned and broken. Video playback has been down for months, and that’s just one of several issues with this platform.
