Q: Hi there, and thank you for coming to AppSumo!
So, what I understand is that right now there is no EPUB3 readers besides yours.
And KF8 is only Kindle Fire.
So, if I create something spectacular, for your reader and KF* and to export as an app, is there an automatic deprecation that will work with current iBooks and Kindle readers and create the basic PDFs within current functionality?

If you export your project as EPUB3, this is automatically compatible with (i)Books Store, Kobo Store and many other stores that will allow your end customers to enjoy your fantastic content on an EPUB3 reader. Thing is, most EPUB readers are either Desktop or iOS compatible, there are very few Android EPUB3 readers that support EPUB files with interactivity, let alone Google Play Books. That's where the native app export can be useful, in that you may publish the same content as an Android app and distribute it through Google Play Store.
Kindle e-ink devices do not support interactive content at all. Again, you could use the PDF export to place it on Kindle devices, but your wonderful interactive content would be lost.
PubCoder has a proprietary format file, named XPUB, which works in conjunction with our product PubReader, freely available on the App Store and Google Play store, mainly useful as a testing app while working on the content.
