Q: Hi there, I was just wondering, rather than use Zapier for Instagram, why not use a reminder app like PromoRepublic and SocialBee do?
And for Pinterest, why not go via Hootsuite, like SocialBee do? This gets around the Hootsuite free limits, too.
I am sure it takes more work, but the Zapier limit of 100 zaps per month for free is very low, especially when spread across both Pinterest and Instagram, and paying more for Zapier pretty much defeats the purpose of paying for a LTD.
One other question - can you post directly to Facebook personal profiles with Publer, as with SocialBee?
Thanks!

May 15, 2024A: Hello,
We will offer the reminders as an option once we have the mobile apps (aiming for the end of the year), even though personally I'm not a big fan as they defeat the purpose.
We went with Zapier for two main reasons:
- Zapier is not our competitor (unlike Hootsuite). I don't think it's a smart move to rely on your direct competitor because they may block you at any time for no reason. Plus, why promote your competitor?
- Zapier can publish to both Pinterest and Instagram even in their free version.
Again, the Zapier integration is just a temporary solution until we get direct API access to Pinterest and Instagram (no estimate date yet).
Regarding your last question. No 3rd party app is able to publish to Facebook personal profiles after the scandal with Cambridge Analytica. Are you sure that SocialBee is able to do so? Maybe they simply send you a reminder.
Thanks,
Ervin
Hello,
I just wanted to let you know that Pinterest (and Instagram) are now supported directly and at no additional cost. No need for Zapier, IFTTT, or any other workaround.
Thank you for your patience.
