Q: Publer team, 1.

Can I use it as unified box now or near future, means I want to see and respond to all messages across social media platforms in common place along with some kind of analytics.

Can this tool do it?

2. How is it different from Metricool, another ongoing but soon to be finished Appsumo deal?

I think both tools related to social media posting and planning but Metricool gives option to manage ad campaigns as well. Is this understanding correct?

3. What is meaning of 30 profiles, can I segment it between various clients as a small digital agency and can I approve content written by my virtual assistants before doing final posting? Can I create sub account feature so that my assistant can see only account relevant to them? Is there a common dashboard to manage all 30 profiles and what kind of metrics are available?

4. What is your long term visions, stick to content posting, scheduling and perhaps unified inbox or you are going to add some extra features as well?

5. How is this different from Content Studio, an Appsumo deal I bought earlier?

6. Do you plan to add additional social media networks like Tiktok, redditt etc. or no? If yes by when?

7. Where are you based, how long have you been in business and how many people are supporting this product?

8. As I understand personal profile is must to create business profiles and groups, but you said that personal profiles can't be managed from this tool. So that confuses me, can you clarify? Also do I need to post messages using this tool to view replies or can I post some directly on platform and check replies and updates in this tool? Which technologies have you used to build this?

I look forward to your early response.

Thanks

A: Hi and thanks for the questions!

1. Our team is building a software called Mitto, which will be your next best friend, as it can serve as a Help Center with almost all the necessary tools to respond to all your customers!

2. As we’ve read on the replies below, I think you are correct. I would like to highlight the simple and fast dashboard which has (almost) every tool you need for: designing, watermarking, scheduling (follow-up comments; signatures; shortcodes; etc.), location tagging, previewing (all types of posts: albums, watermarks, etc.) but we also provide insights (simple, but real-time ones).

3. You will be able to manage the team accordingly to your needs: invite new members, assign roles, give permissions (of different levels), and you are free to decide which social accounts they have access to make modifications/ see.

4. As I mentioned in the beginning, we are up to building a huge software solution for all those who are interested to have quick access to their customers!

5. I would really appreciate other sumo-lings to join this thread as we don’t have much information about them (and we don’t want to give wrong information).

6. In fact, we are willing to add IG, YouTube, and VKontakte. But, we’re all ears to new ideas that will make our customers’ work easier. TikTok is technically not possible as they don’t have an API. For Reddit, you can subscribe for updates here: https://publer.nolt.io/177

7. We are located in Tirana/Albania. Publer has been created in 2015 and has been growing more and more each year, with everyone’s help and suggestions! Also, we are a small team, but we’re all dedicated and willing to make Publer a bigger healthier superhero :)

8. You need a personal profile to create Business Pages and Groups, which you can add to Publer, but you cannot add the personal profile. Viewing & responding to replies needs to be done outside Publer on the actual social network. Publer has been built using the latest technologies: Ruby on Rails, React, Mongo, Postgres and it’s hosted on Amazon awesome servers.

Cheers,
Xhesika.

Xhesika_Publer,

1. There is contradiction between point 1 (where you have mentioned Mitto) and point 8 in your response or perhaps my ability to understand it is not up to mark.

So it seems Mitto is unified inbox which allows me to see all messages across all social platforms but is it included in this deal as it seems a differentiating factor. Even if it is included, how will I organize social profiles belonging to different clients since I have to understand which messages and posts belong to which one? Can I see some screen sheet. Will I see separate 30 interfaces for 30 clients (assuming I buy one code), basically how should I visualize such unified inbox?

2. In point 8 of your response, you say viewing and responding to replies needs to be done outside Publer. Then what is the use of Mitto?

So in such case this is mainly for scheduling and posting but not two way communication and no unified inbox, please clarify.

3. Again in point 8 of your response, you said personal profile can't be added. So is it a standard practice that for each social platform, one must create personal profile first and then business pages {of single business/website or multiple businesses/website(s) later}, how does it work in practice? What is standard common sense procedure for those who run multiple websites under one owner?

Thanks

Apologies for the confusion.

Mitto is going to be a separate spin-off product NOT included in this plan. Mitto will be the unified inbox you're looking for that will allow you to respond to comments & messages. The reason it will be a different product is because it will offer much more than simply responding to customer queries such as creating promotional campaigns, a live chat you can add to your website and so on. We want to continue keeping Publer simple and reasonably priced.

Publer's core functionality will remain to be scheduling & publishing social media posts, but because we will own both products, we will add some integration between them such as responding to customer comments within Publer via Mitto. That means you will have to purchase both products in order for such integration to work.

In Publer you can create different teams (i.e. one for each client) and each team will have its own members, social accounts, posts, insights etc. Here's some more info with screenshots: https://blog.publer.io/creating-teams-and-team-collaborations

Mitto will be built with the same concept in mind (different workspaces).

Last, but not least, personal profiles. So I have a personal profile on Facebook with my name (Ervin). I have created the Facebook Page for "Publer" and a Facebook Group called "Publer Nation". I can add both the Facebook Page and the Group to Publer and start scheduling posts for them, but I cannot add my own personal profile "Ervin" to Publer.

Facebook does not allow 3rd party apps to publish on personal profiles.

Let me know if you're still confused :)

Ervin_Publer,

1. Now I am clear, thanks for helping me to understand it. For the time being, last few concerns. I was looking at your product road map screen shot https://publer-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/roadmap.png

and didn't understood what is location tagging (whose location are tagging here, asking it from perspective of digital agency managing clients), then Canva integration will require separate payments to Canva, correct? RSS Auto import will work in which context, importing aggregate feeds of blog via RSS or what?

2. Your Business strategy is exactly like Content Studio in context of Mitto CRM, I purchased that deal through Appsumo, and later on they asked me $ 100 as they released a separate spin off feature just like Mitto CRM but I didn't bought it and am using Content Studio for specific activities of social media management supply chain. So you are on right track from your business perspective. Now when you say Mitto will have ability to manage campaigns, you mean advertising campaigns or what? and how will such common inbox work across social profiles (as consolidated under teams , I read your blog), is there a screen shot to see or can you help me in visualizing workflow since I may need that from workflow integration standpoint.

3. I am looking into codes but will you come up with Mitto as LTD or that will fall under regular plan. Will there be any commitments towards Sumolings or not? I am just asking, I understand you are creator of product so it will be your decision but I need to know to make decision at my end.

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay in response. I somehow missed the new reply.

1 .Here's some more info on location tagging: https://blog.publer.io/tag-locations-in-scheduled-posts

I believe Canva has a free version, but if that's not enough, we cannot cover Canva's subscription fees.

Basically you will enter one or more RSS feeds and Publer will constantly look for new posts on those feeds. When it finds them, it will either post them right away on your social accounts, or automatically schedule them for you at a later time.

2. With campaigns I mean the ability to send a promotion to all your contacts regardless if they're connected with you via Facebook, Email, Whatsapp and so on. Mitto is still work in progress so I don't have the screenshots that you're looking for yet.

3. If AppSumo agrees, the goal is to offer Mitto as a separate LTD campaign once we launch it. If not, it will fall under a regular subscription plan.

Thanks.
