Okay scheduler with issues / No decent indept analytics

Comparing with PromoRepublic, I thought scheduling and posting experience of PR was more tight, put together, and matured. But personally for me, PromoRepublic has a big flaw, which I thought that this app could address. Unfortunately it doesn't. The flaw is this - if I am creating posts for my business using my business profile, I cannot tag my own profile on the posts. This is a huge deal as it does let your followers know more often when you are tagged. Now there is a workaround - you can manually go to individual FB and Insta platofrms, and tag after the post is already published. But that means more manual work. Secondly, I cannot tag on twitter after the post is already published.

Analytics is worse than what you see on instagram and FB. I understand the creator has it on their roadmap. Because of their cheaper cost, I will hold out to this app for now with the hope that they don't disappear and actually deliver on analytics.

UPdate: I am going to be refunding. I asked them if they would ever allow to tag our own profile on posts (first issue mentioned above). They said that it is not possible. Meaning it is not even going to be in future. So I am most likely refunding this one, unless someone from their team responds positively to this post.

Hi there and thank you for the feedback.

That is unfortunately true. Facebook and LinkedIn do not allow you to tag other personal profiles in your posts using a 3rd party app and that's in order to prevent spamming. You can try any app, even the biggest players out there like Buffer and Hootsuite, and you won't be able to tag your own personal profile.

There is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

When using a 3rd party app, you can only tag other Facebook Pages, LinkedIn Pages (coming soon in Publer), Twitter accounts and Instagram accounts (if you remember the correct @username handle).

Regarding the Twitter inconvenience, you can do the following. You can create the base post (without tags) and then turn on customizing the post for each social network. You can easily update the Twitter version of the post to include the tag. This way you only need to edit the Facebook & LinkedIn published posts.

We have major improvements planned for analytics later this year. Anything in particular that you would like us to offer?

We have been around for the past 5 years, in the shadows, and we plan to be around for many more years to come now that we're more popular :)

Cheers,
Ervin
