Q: Hello, This looks awesome.
Now, which is better docx or e-pub? Like, which gives more reach? Or, is the most reach by publishing both?
Also, with the one-click distribution is there a list of publications available straight-off-the-bat?
Like, on your site the pricing tiers are for distribution to 45 stores.. But, there's well over 400 and even more digital libraries etc..
I'm assuming the stores or some stores have their fees yes?
Is it a simple process to pay the fees and just click into their distribution from PublishDrive?
Meaning we can for instance say we wanted to distribute to absolutely everywhere, can we do that all within PublishDrive?
And make payment for any additional fees per store etc...
Last question - Do we or can we get a link back to our website within the stores we distribute to from PublishDrive?
Ok thanks!
Best,
Eddie

Thank you for your question! We're glad to hear you're interested :)
For ebooks, we accept both .docx and epub formats for upload, but we only distribute epubs. If you upload a .docx, it will be converted on our platform. Our free converter tool only works on simple, text-heavy publications that don't have complex formatting, too many images or tables. If you have a complex book, we recommend uploading an epub file that is already validated.
You can reach all of our store partners without paying an additional fee! The 400 stores are under the 45 names you see on our website. When you sign up, you will see the individual stores listed in your account. For example, Kobo has 28 stores, Bookmate has 8, Apple has 51, etc. You can also reach thousands of digital libraries.
The only store that has a separate distribution fee is Ingram which is $10/book/year, but this is only available for print-on-demand.
To answer your last question: no, unfortunately stores do not make it possible to include your own website and add it to the store listings. Some bigger retailers like Amazon, Google Play, etc. make it possible for you to create author profiles and you can add your website there, but other stores do not offer this option.
I hope I was able to help!

Hello Reka,
Thanks very much for the detailed answers. I'm sold. I have two clients this would be an excellent fit for. Also, I did a search on major online book retailers and both their industries have solid authors and books in all formats etc.. But at the same time not so crowded. Like, not crazy saturated etc..
Thanks again and I'll grab two codes today.
Oh one more thing so, can I manually create "author profiles" in the big shops like Amazon and Barnes & Noble etc..?
And merge them into PublishDrive?
And do you have a reseller or affiliate program?
