Looks Great But....
By the description, this is truly what I need to expand my distribution FAR beyond KDP/Amazon.
But: Once logged in, I'm urged to "UPLOAD YOUR FIRST BOOK". I'm told to have the Cover File, Content File, and Metadata ...without ANY hint whatever on what file format(s) are acceptable, or how to (say) set up the ebook or printed book spine width.
Clicking the link to Upload doesn't provide any other clues. You might think "AHA! There's a link to 'Learn more about Book formatting!!'" Exactly what we need ...right? Wrong: it's a 404. Smack ... my ... forehead.
A welcome email promotes "different tools within Publish Drive" ...and clicking that just goes to the same Dashboard which, again, has no information whatever on what is needed.
And I'm an experienced publisher with 45 books under my belt. A newbie? Wow are they going to be perplexed.
NO mention of any tutorials, specifications, suggestions, hints, best practices ...NOTHING.
This is a six-year-old company?! Seems more like six months old. NOT ready for prime time, and that's where they are after six years, I truly worry about the future of this company.
I want to know what is the BEST format to upload so that the books look the way I want. But instead I'm dead in the water here with no lead whatever on where to go next. "Try this, and if that doesn't work try that, and then that, and then the other thing" is a waste of my time. TELL ME what is best and I'll provide that!
Now, if there ARE tutorials and other evidence of maturity, I'm happy to revisit my Taco Rating, but then ...why isn't there a link to such? I have to assume it's because there aren't any (or completely out of date, thus the 404). Either alternative is certainly not a good thing. PLEASE prove me wrong.

May 14, 2024I would like to add to my previous comment that our technical team has fixed the links in the meantime, so they should be working now. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
