simply upload new video, set tmp public id for it, change public id of old video, and set that public id on new video, that how you can keep/use same url a/o embed code on different video

will above exchange of file also work with already encrypted files?

In case of offloading from Wordpress: Would Publitio replace any caching/CDN solution, some compression plugins provide? Or would it run parallelly to such a solution and the files delivered by your CDN would be cached by the other plugin?

1. it will work with encrypted files, you are just replacing/changing public id between two files
2. it could be an overkill to use multiple plugins for cashing/optimization.
