Every Sumo-ling knows the startup dream is real—but the journey is anything but easy! Our founder, King, started out just like many makers: coding everything from frontend to backend, building infrastructure, and tackling whatever looked interesting or challenging. With 12+ years in software engineering, he got to the point where he could build almost anything…but like so many founders, the real challenge was getting these great tools into the hands of users who need them most.
Before Pubrio, King led AI and data architecture for top Asia Pacific FMCG brands, building massive data lakes and intelligence systems that powered insights for over 3 million people every day. Those wins (and a few failures along the way!) taught him: creating cool solutions is half the battle—connecting with real users and solving their daily pains is what really matters.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?
The idea for Pubrio came from seeing how painfully hard it was to find reliable, accurate business data worldwide. We noticed that many businesses still struggled to get real-time, actionable sales intelligence - especially across under-covered markets and local sources. That’s when the vision sparked: what if AI could unify global business data and make it instantly searchable and usable, just like Google?
What problem is your product solving and how?

We want to build a close-knit community of engaged users who shape Pubrio’s future with continuous feedback. The funds will be reinvested to scale our AI and data infrastructure, accelerate product improvements, and add features that Sumo-lings truly need.
If we achieve our goals here, the horizon looks bright: expanding our global data coverage, enhancing automation capabilities, and developing integrations with popular sales tools to become the go-to platform for smart, scalable lead generation.
