PulpMiner is a powerful tool that allows users to quickly and easily create API endpoints from webpages, powered by AI. It offers fast, cacheable API endpoints, real-time or on-demand data fetching, and a credit-based usage system. While it is perfect for various use cases such as building tools, enriching CRMs, competitive research, and automations, it does not currently support authenticated/logged-in pages. The cost for API requests is 0.4 credits per call, and JSON generation is 0.25 credits. Overall, PulpMiner is a valuable tool for those in need of structured data from websites, and it is backed by a dedicated founder who is open to feedback and ideas.

1 Taco Too Many

Cool software, seemed to mostly work. Wish the founder well, but for crying out loud...I hope he does some basic arithmetic prior to future campaigns so the panic! can be avoided.

No Flexibility After Changes to Original Offer

This review isn’t being written because the deal was initially advertised as offering unlimited requests (which the product creator later confirmed multiple times in the comments), nor because we had already invested time and effort into building a product around that promise. These things happen, and we understand that the decision to offer unlimited requests may not have been fully thought through and ultimately proved unsustainable.

The issue lies elsewhere: when we reached out to the product creator to ask about a revised offer—perhaps one with a reasonable monthly request limit—there was no willingness to explore alternatives. The only response was, “just request a refund.”

This complete unwillingness to work toward a mutually beneficial solution (and such a solution does exist—it all depends on the limits) is what we find unacceptable.

Hi Nick ,
The product’s AI and scraping costs make recurring credits unsustainable with LTD.
Best,
Melvin

A promising product in its early stages

I must say that this product is promising, and I like it, but it gives me inconsistent results at this stage.

Firstly, I thought that the AI might be used only to extract the information as it is on the web page, but I was wrong. As a result, features like summarization or translation of the website content are present, which is great. However, on the other hand, the AI could alter the scraped information, giving inaccurate outputs.

After some testing, I see that this tool could alter the description or the price of a scraped product on its own and without your knowledge. It can also lose some entries/items in the conversion process. Most of the time, it is the entries at the end of the list that are lost, but the ones in the middle could also be lost from time to time. It could give you relative links instead of absolute ones or vice versa, etc. What I mean is that we, as customers, have to deal with the AI instead of having everything done for us.

Surely I could address most of the issues I had by adding proper prompts, but for now, I do not feel confident enough with the obtained results.

Regarding the website interface, the things that could be improved are:
- The "Generate JSON from webpage content" feature could take too much time to process the request or may not work at all from time to time.
- I also miss an option to edit the "Dynamic URL Options" once the API is created.
- It would also be great to be able to have multiple API keys. In fact, I see that this is a recommended workaround according to the documentation: "Use different keys for different environments," but I do not see that this feature is implemented yet.

Summarizing, this could become a great tool for professional and amateur developers, but at this stage, I do not feel it is reliable enough for me to use in production environments. I hope this could change in the near future.

Hi,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review. We genuinely appreciate your early support and constructive feedback — it helps us improve PulpMiner in the right direction.

You’re absolutely right about the potential and current limitations. We’re still in the early stages, we understand that they can sometimes introduce inconsistencies or alter data...
