A: Hi, yes, we monitor SSL certificates and domain expiration dates. However, at the moment, we only send alerts for SSL certificates. You can view the expiration date of your domain in your account.
The site could be down, but it could still serve the visitors the cached version. That's what we need a string to bypass the cache to know the real status.

Q: Hi, 2 questions :
1/ I want to make sure a website is "protected" behind a 403 and get alerted when it's no ...
longer the case, do I use "expected status" = 403 ? 2/ If a website is "locked" (only a few users can access) how can I indicate a text that if found by pulsetic (rather than not found) I will get an alert? (like "We will verify that the response DOES NOT contain the given text" ? Thanks
1. Yes, you can set up this rule in the advanced settings of your monitor. 2. Similarly, in the advanced settings of your monitor, you have the option to insert the expected "keyword" on the page.
Thanks for your answer on point 1. Could you please check again for point 2 ? "We will verify that the response DOES NOT contain the given text" : I want to get an alert when a PAGE DOES NOT CONTAIN A GIVEN TEXT. No the other way around... Thanks in advance for your answer.
Hi, yes we have this option, just check the "Not in response" checkbox.
Best, Andrian
Q: Hey Andrian, I came across the BetterStack which offer similar service.
They have 2 features which is very interesting to me: ✅ Screenshots & error logs We record your API's error message and take a screenshot of your website being down so that you know exactly what happened. ✅ Voice call alerts
I'd like to know if we have these features at the moment or anytime down the road? Thanks for your response in advance.
I purchased and must say I'm quite impressed. I'm a long-time Uptime Robot user, and am also evaluating a few other competitors, but so far Pulsetic is heads and shoulders above them when it comes to UX and UI -- the ease of use is really refreshing.
I saw another user's questions about items on the roadmap. I have a similar one:
Some of the alternatives I'm evaluating have a blacklist monitor functionality, which seems very handy, and sensical to include into a end-to-end monitoring tool.
However, I haven't been able to find such a feature in Pulsetic.
Did I miss it? If not, is it something you're considering? Perhaps (by chance) already on your roadmap?
Here's the list of the locations according to my account:
- Toronto - New York - Ashburn - Los Angeles - Sao Paulo - Johannesburg - Stockholm - Helsinki - London - Nuremberg - Paris - Bangalore - Singapore - Sydney - Tokyo
Note: I keep seeing “30 servers” on this AppSumo hosted page, but the Pulsetic website itself mentions 15 locations, even for the highest plan.
Q: Please bring it back, give another chance to buy it

Q: Hi Adrian, Occasionally with a WP or auto plugin update the nav or a particular page gets messed up and I ...
need to go into the back end and purge the cache. Will you app notify me with any changes to individual pages or nav changes visually?
Andrian
May 15, 2024A: Hi,
I recommend using the keyword functionality. This way, you can track whether a word is on the page, and if it disappears, it will alert you.
