I have 4-5 sites i'm considering this for, and it looks like SPAI makes the most sense. Is there a good way for me to try to estimate my monthly transfer usage on a per site basis?

I suggest you buy a single code and install SPAI on all your 4-5 websites and leave it there for a week. Then check out the stats (the number of credits used/day/website) and try to extrapolate and see if you need more than one code or not.
