Q: In my Google Workspace account I have the main Gmail account, and I have also linked other non-Gmail accounts ...
to this workspace, which I can view and send from the same workspace account.
How does this work regarding "user" based licensing?
Can I buy a single user license and handle all the email accounts with that license, which are linked to this Google Workspace account?

Let's assume you've registered with gerd@company.com
In this inbox (gerd@company.com) you also have emails coming in from
- gerd@anothercompany.com
- gerd@personal.com
Is your question if we can analyze messages that came from all 3 accounts using the Q account for gerdc@company.com?
Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, your example is correct with the fact, that they are all 3 in one google account received (gerd@company.com) and sent from this Google Gmail account (with their correct email address in place)
By our example here when you register with:
- gerd@company.com
You permit Q to fetch emails from this account for analysis.
However, this does not permit Q to fetch emails for:
- gerd@anothercompany.com
- gerd@personal.com
Security and privacy are top priority for us, as a result we've utilized the GmailAPI to obtain the data for Q. This also means that Q does not analyze data that is not part of the permissions Q was granted for.
In short, one email address, one account, one permission. Q does not support the scenario you've mentioned.
Thanks for the clarification. That's too bad... This means that I need to set up for each email account a separate Gmail account. How about the licensing for the tool. Can I use my "1 user" account for multiple emails?
You can purchase multiple seats (3 or 5) and invite other users. Each email address is a seat.
Notice that they won't work side-by-side (i.e. no federation login) at the moment.
