$5 for 100 GB while it's here is a great deal. I stacked a bunch, had to go through checkout several times with 3 codes each time, which is a pain, but I will continue to stack while it's around.
Stack it with 3 codes and honestly, while it's here just add 3 more codes to your cart while you checkout with other products. If you have Plus, it's less than $15 every time and the credits are LTD.
It's good. The CLI made me smile as a dev, this is super useful and fun. Transfers from device to device are always a pain and usually involve me emailing myself or for larger blobs, deciding which cloud storage to use. But there are some things that I just don't want to put in an email and they don't need to be in any of my cloud storage drives.
This is such a simple and well executed solution. It's easy to tell the maker had the same itch and I'm super grateful they decided to finally scratch it.

May 9, 2024First, you have made my day, because although you can do a lot more with QRClip now. The original idea was just that, to transfer data from a phone to a desktop using a QR code, basically to send something to a QR code instead of just receiving it. So many times I wished I had a solution to send data to a desktop computer that was in front of me, but did not have anything set up on it, like email, etc. As a developer, I did not care to validate the idea, so it's always good to know that there is at least one other person in this world who has the same problem :)
I am now working on a new version with faster encryption, validation, cleaner interface and it will be possible to publish native Android and iOS apps. Unfortunately, although QRClip is a PWA, it is not enough to handle large files on Android and iOS, and the only way is a real app.
